I was at the tasting and have to say the blind beer tastings were a great idea. Mark and Cindy did a great job hosting and a good time was had by all. Just a couple quick comments/observations:
I just realized that of the three pumpkin beers that were tasted; two ale's and one lager. The Lakefront Pumpkin Lager was the groups unanimous favorite and was by far the most flavorful and best tasting beer. Could it be that since the Lakefront is a lager and the other two being ale's allow for the Lakefront to be a better tasting beer? Or is just a better choice of ingredients by Lakefront??? (Probably a good question for Grant)
I also want to thank Mark and Cindy for introducing me to the Cherry Vodka Bounce and the Cherry Whiskey Bounce. What awesome drinks!!! The Door County infused cherries were heaven in a glass/jar!!
